The Pork Soup tasted excellent! I added the red sauce which was a bit garlicy and spicy to the pork soup and it tasted similar to the one I had in Korea. I also ordered Soft Tofu Spicy Soup which tasted delicious. The appetizers were tasty! Service was attentive and welcoming. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

It's nice to find a restaurant like this on a late Sunday evening around 10:30pm. At this time most places are closed but fast food restaurants. Our lady server was very nice and smiling. The food came out quickly and again it's nice to enjoy hot Korean stew and rice dishes that all tasted homemade. Because it's a relaxing and easygoing environment, it can attract young working people to drink a little more than their capacity and get loud and foul-mouthed. The lady server's attention to us made up for the uncivilized table of three vulgar individuals.

Great little Korean restaurant! We ordered the kimchi pancake ($15), soft tofu soup with beef ($18), pork BBQ ($25), large pork bone soup ($45), and grilled beef intestines ($45). The side dishes were tasty, the kimchi pancake was superb, and the pork BBQ was marinated to perfection. It was our first time trying beef intestines and I'd have to say that it wasn't really our thing and was quite expensive too. Our server was great though and took the time to let us know how their dishes are traditionally eaten. I'd recommend giving this place a try if you're in the area!

Stopped by on a Friday afternoon to grab some lunch with friends to try their set lunch menu, price pointed at $25 per person. It’s a well curated menu and great option to share with amongst friends! You get an assortment of flavor profiles amongst the dishes; sweet, savory, spicy! As someone who enjoys squid - the squid salad was my favorite. Cooked just right with a nice crunch texture, enhancing that crunch further with vegetables like cucumber, cabbage, carrots!

Had a wonderful dining experience here, a must is the the tripe soup which was very flavourful and just the right amount of spicyness. The tsuboki gas the perfect sauce and the bbq beef is well cooked with fresh onions. Side dish are the korean standard ones which are refillable and free as well as the the drinking water which is not tap water as there is no after taste. Dining area is clean and well maintained as well as the washrooms. Staff are nice and do their duties well. Prices are somewhat affordable. Will surely come back here again to try another dish of korean cuisine.

I was looking for bukchangdong soondubu but Calgary doesn’t have it here. But I think this might be better in some aspects, although bcd is also very good. I ordered the beef soon dubu. And I think this one is healthier because it has more vegetables like mushroom, zucchini, onion slices, and I even found woodear mushroom in a side dish. There was also an acorn jelly side dish that I never tried before in Korean restaurants so it was nice to have that too! The restaurant is clean but obviously not a fancy restaurant so decoration is bare, but comfortable to eat in.
